Little Bit uh'bout miss ella

In an effort to pursue this magic, she studied at NYU and The Juilliard School and couldn't be more thankful to the teachers who helped her lift her imagination off the page.  Katherine has since performed at Minton’s Playhouse, SMOKE Jazz Club, Dizzy’s Coca-Cola Club, Hotel Chantelle, SoHo House, Joe’s Pub, The Williamsburg Hotel, Cornelia St. Café, Fine & Rare, The Flatiron Room, Silvana, and developed a local music series at Kos Kaffe.

In tribute to her teachers, friends, parents, family - this work persistently exists.  Look back here for performance dates, new music, recipe ideas (because food is the ultimate link between man and nature), and hilarious short films.

Katherine Ella Wood is an actor, jazz singer, and environmentalist born of beautiful a Jamaican mother who taught her the importance of being kind, compassionate, using proper grammar, and leaving this green Earth just a little bit brighter than before.
